Instead of very correct details I painted with a feel what I had when I looked at the reference photo and knowing the horse it made a difference. He clearly looks bothered at the moment but I couldn’t help myself put his kind soul in that eye. Each board is hand chosen to complement the artwork. From rough lumber, David hand crafts the molding to produce each frame. This piece is made from Rhodesian teakwood.
