Boomer is a big, attractive young gelding with the build, movement, and mind to develop into a versatile performance horse. At 14.2 hands, he is big boned, big bodied, and comfortable to ride.

With approximately 60 days under saddle, Boomer has been started correctly and has a solid foundation for his age. He walks, trots, and lopes around nicely, with a good little turn and a nice beginning to his stop.

He is easy going and uncomplicated, making him a promising young horse for someone looking to develop their next performance or using horse.

 

Pedigree

Boomer is by Southerns Booncat, by Peptoboonsmal and out of an own daughter of High Brow Cat.

Peptoboonsmal was an NCHA Open Futurity Champion and became one of the most influential sires in the cutting and cow horse industry. High Brow Cat was an NCHA money-earner and went on to become one of the breed’s most influential sires of cutting and performance horses.

His dam, Cococavanna, is by CKade, adding another performance-oriented line to his pedigree.

This pedigree gives a strong foundation for a number of directions, particularly cow horse, ranch horse, and rope horse.

 

Ability & Potential

Boonvanna is still early in his training, but he has already established a good foundation.

He has:

• Walk, trot and lope
• A good beginning to his turn
• A nice start to his stop
• A quiet attitude

With his size, bone, body and power, we believe he has the potential to make a very nice head horse. His breeding and way of going also make him a prospect for a cow horse or ranch horse program.

He will remain in training and continue to be developed until he finds his new home.
