SCC Boonvanna - SOLD

2024 AQHA Bay Roan Gelding

Southerns Booncat x Cococavanna (Ckade)

14.2+ HH

Barn name: Boomer

Versatile Performance Prospect

Boomer is a young gelding with the size, build, movement, and mind to develop into a very nice performance horse. He is big boned, big bodied, comfortable to ride, and has the presence you want in a horse that can go on and compete.

He has been started correctly with a solid foundation and is ready for someone to take him home and continue developing him into their own program.

Pedigree

Boomer is by Southerns Booncat, a son of Peptoboonsmal and out of an own daughter of High Brow Cat, and out of Cococavanna by CKade.

His pedigree brings together some of the most influential names in the performance horse industry, with strong foundations in cutting, cow horse, and versatility.

• Peptoboonsmal — NCHA Open Futurity Champion and leading sire of performance horses
• High Brow Cat — one of the most influential sires in the cutting and cow horse industry
• CKade — accomplished AQHA/ABRA/IBHA sire with World Champion offspring

Performance & Ability

We see him fitting particularly well into the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse, stock horse, ranch riding, and ranch horse world. His size, build, and athletic ability also give him the potential to develop into a head horse as he continues to mature and progress.

He is still young enough that the right rider can take him in the direction that best fits their goals.

Mind & Suitability

One of Boomer’s biggest assets is his easy-going, willing personality.

He is uncomplicated to ride and has the kind of mind that makes him appealing to an amateur or non-pro looking for a young performance prospect.

With his solid foundation and good mind, he has the potential to be a horse an amateur can develop and show next year while continuing to grow into his ability.

Boomer will remain in training and continue to advance until sold.

His price will increase as his training and experience progress.
